Default Après un rêve (Fauré), mandocello and piano

Gabriel Fauré: Après un rêve (Op. 7 No. 1)

Although written as a song with piano accompaniment, this piece is commonly played on cello. For my instrumental adaptation, I have played the melody on mandocello, based on an adaptation for violin and piano in G minor by Mischa Elman, published in 1920 by Carl Fischer in New York, an online transcription of which is available here:

I have used Elman's piano part (which is considerably more elaborate than Fauré's original accompaniment) and have played Elman's violin part an octave lower on mandocello. The MIDI piano part is computer-generated using the standard Musescore soundfonts. For reference, I attach the mandocello part in bass clef.

Note there is a 25-second piano introduction before the mandocello comes in!
