Thread: Tough times may mean more Skype lesson opportunities (NMC)

Default Tough times may mean more Skype lesson opportunities (NMC)

With many gigs and tours being cancelled, opportunities to support top professionals by taking advantage of online lessons may be about to rise sharply.

I do know a US tour by top folk/traditional fiddler Kevin Henderson and American pianist Neil Pearlman has had to be put off and that Kevin (a Facebook friend and mutual acquaintance of many of my Shetland friends) is now seeking new students for Skype lessons.

I wouldn't be surprised if pro mandolin players were doing the same. It might be time to get behind them in a different way, since they all have bills to pay and many now find themselves with no gig revenue from which to pay them.

We have a builder database on MC, perhaps a Skype lesson provider database?
