That looks like an AEA R88 stereo ribbon mic and it captures the beautiful tones and performance from the Dawg and the band quite nicely. Quite the stereo image if you listen with headphones.

This needs to be encouraged to say the least. This video was first posted a couple years ago as a black & white video (since removed). Very artsy and stylish, this color version is certainly nice too. The B&W versions had Bells Of Camoglia along with Newly Wedding, Doc & Dawg, and Standing Rock. Incredible stuff, beautifully presented, outstanding audio. So, there were at least 3 other tunes done during this session and I'll bet a few more. I for one would pay handsomely for a complete video concert . . . hint, hint. Maybe too much to hope for, but like I said, this needs to be encouraged

With all love and complete admiration the dawg looks like a 19th century romantic composer.
I hadn’t seen this. It’s wonderful.
I got tossed in the Dawg Pound way back in about 1982. Saw the DGQ for the first time a year or two later at the Strawberry Bluegrass Festival in the San Fran area. A year ago or so when the first B&W versions showed up on YouTube, I commissioned a dear friend and artist for a Dawg portrait derived from the video. I think she nailed it. It sits proudly in a prominent spot in my man cave / music room. It inspires me. Really, no doubt that the "powers that be" need to take this OneMic thing to the next level, it is just so unique and both the audio and visual quality are so fantastic.
"Dawg Pound," haven't heard that one before. LIKE! Same thing happened to me in the 1980's when I discovered Mr. G. in the SF Bay area. Nice picture.

I keep hearing the Bond theme (Or maybe it's Secret Agent Man) in that "Bells" intro and outro...

I thought these performances and indeed the recording needed a bump.
