Is there something wrong with a Gibson G model F-5 ??? It's down to $3600 or best offer
The listing has expired. Looks like an F5G in the thumbnail. The “master model” designation can be confusing. Not a bad price, if you’re looking for a G.

Still there for another day https://ebay.us/w6Rii2
It looks like a nice example at a fair price. My first Gibson F was an F5-G, it stood above all the previous mandolins I had owned prior. It had that sound that I've had to revisit with my current brood.
Old Hometown, Cabin Fever String Band
The description says ' rosewood fretboard ' it sure looks like ebony to me.

Carter just listed here a super interesting F5G commemorating the Nashville Library, for $3,250. If I were looking for a Gibson F, or any F, I'd jump at this. It's a bit of an oddity but at the same time that makes it unique. Don't let the flat fingerboard scare you.

Good eyes Steve Roberts (my bad).
