Following on from my recent recording of the famous Bach/Marcello Adagio in D Minor (Link), here is another Bach mandolin/piano duet, just as melodic.
Johann Sebastian Bach: Sonata in E-flat major for flute or recorder and harpsichord
2. Siciliano, Andante con moto (in G minor)
This is the second movement of Bach's Flute Sonata in Eb major (BWV 1031), also sometimes attributed to his son CPE Bach (H.545) - a slow melodic Siciliano (or Siciliana) in 6/8 time.
I have recorded the flute part on mandolin, with a MIDI piano part generated by Musescore, using this transcription:

I enjoy recording with MIDI piano parts -- it allows me to concentrate on mandolin playing and is more musical than using a click track...
