VI. Domine Deus (soprano, oboe and basso)

This is my instrumental recording of Vivaldi's Domine Deus, played as a duet of mandolin and octave mandolin (mandola), with a computer-generated basso part on harpsichord and violoncello. The mandolin takes the soprano part and the OM the oboe part.

II. Laudamus Te (Soprano I & II)

Here is another movement from Vivaldi's Gloria, the "Laudamus Te". The piece is originally a vocal duet of two sopranos, which I am playing as a mandolin duet, with a computer-generated basso part on harpsichord and violoncello. There is a 20-second harpsichord/cello introduction before the mandolins come in.

As with the Domine Deus, I am again attaching the duet score for two mandolins and an MP3 of the accompaniment in case anybody want to try this. It makes a very nice mandolin duet, I think.
