Default RY COODER on the Mainline

From "Ry Cooder & The Moula Banda Rhythm Aces: Let's Have A Ball", a film by Les Blank taped at The Catalyst, Santa Cruz, CA on March 25'th 1987. Awesome solo's by George Bohannon and Ry using slide on mandoguitar!

Happy Easter. ... Ry -- such a unique talent. I wanted to name our eldest son after him but the closest my wife would allow was Ryan. : )

Fantastic! Amazing band and vocals with solid rhythm section of Jorge Calderon and Jim Keltner.

I always liked that song, and Ry has been one of my musical heroes forever. So that thing he's playing is basically a small guitar? I think I've seen them for sale. Mandolin sized, but tuned like a guitar?

Saw that live in Edinburgh Playhouse in 1987, certainly one of the best gigs I've ever attended!
