Tenor String Set for GDAE

Hi,
I have a Blueridge BR 40t that I want to string GDAE.... I know this question has been brought up before ( I looked up the old threads) but I would greatly appreciate some current advice on what y’all are using on your tenors for GDAE?

Obviously, I’d like the strings to be safe for the instrument in terms of tension, and to sound good. It will be used mostly for chords / rhythm. Also, I would prefer to buy them as a set instead of single strings to keep life simple.

I don’t anything has changed in recent years ... anyway you have a fair bit of leeway with the Blueridge .... 12p 18w 30w 45w is my choice, I think you can get 13 20 30 42 as a set but honestly buying singles should not be an issue at all.

The John Pearse set got a few mentions in past threads.... I assume they are a solid choice for GDAE.

I have a few sets of those John Pearce strings you mentioned on order, but I intend to put them onto nylon string tenor guitars of 23” & 24 1/2” scale. They will work on your guitar but I think you’ll be more satisfied if you follow the string guru Fox’s advice
