Default Eight Miles High -Desert Rose Band

Chris Hillman lighting it up on mandolin trading licks with John Jorgenson. I got to hear Clarence White do this live in 1972. These guys do him justice.

Great stuff! If you EVER get a chance to see John Jorgenson, don't miss it. Wonderful guy, and a spectacular player.
All my life I wanted to be somebody, now I realize I should have been more specific.

Awesome. Desert Rose is/was a great band. Didn't know they were still kicking.

For Chris Hillman fans -- he also got to pick up his mando for several numbers on this rare quasi-reunion of the original Byrds, at The Boarding House in 1978:

I saw Chris Hillman do this twice actually a few years ago with Herb Pederson at two festivals in New Jersey. It's part of his regular rotation.
