From an email blast just now Naïve Records:

Julien Martineau has been travelling the world running through a repertoire from Vivaldi to Yann Tiersen via Karol Beffa.

In his last album, he invited the pianist Vanessa Benelli Mosell to record rare masterpieces by Beethoven but also by Hummel and Apparailly. They even played a Beethoven Disco, the Walter Murphy's "Fifth of Beethoven". Le Figaro Magazine wrote about these Beethoven Suites: "Among the CDs at the beginning of this year, this one, published by Naïve, is the most interesting and the most original."

Following performances at La Folle Journée de Nantes, the Luxembourg Philharmonie and Toulouse Halle aux Grains, Julien will perform in two solo tours in China and Africa.
