    Default Winnipeg Mandolin Orchestra video

I was listening to CBC radio last night and was treated to a piece by the Winnipeg Mandolin Orchestra, which I didn't know existed. The orchesta seems to be oriented toward Ukrainian and other eastern European music. Here 's some information about them, and a video of them playing "Flatbush Waltz" (contemporary Klezmer) by Andy Statman.

Robert Johnson's mother, describing blues musicians:
"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."
