    I have made 4 models to date, only the 3 newest ones here. These are not made in the conventional, they are hewn from a solid block.

    Interesting ideas! Do the two acoustic ones, one with an extra soundhole and one without, sound similar, or (looking at the other photos) does the ‘without’ have a port on the backside?

    I love the looks! I’m wondering, though, about the choice of screwing the tailpiece to the face instead of to the bottom edge. Attaching to the face wouldn’t seem to be as structurally sound.
