    Default Grammy Mandolin Siting

Lil Nas X sitting on a couch at the beginning of his performance seemed to be using the mandolin as a prop to get the tune going.

Might have been a three point? Couldn't see the headstock.

He tossed it aside and got down to business.

Yup, Gibson F9. And it was nothing but a prop. But hey, we’ve gone mainstream!

Might have been a prop, but looked to me like he was chording on it. And the wiring made me think it was hot. Not the music I play, but was impressed with the performance.

Not my preferred genre, but to the millions of especially young people who watched that show, it's priceless mandolin exposure...

I bet today there are lots of people asking "Was that little stringed instrument that Lil Nas X was playing with on the couch a ukulele???"

Too bad Live With Her didn’t get to play “Call My Name.” Good on Lil’ Nas , though
