This was a really fun mandolin to play, I had a lot of fun playing it

Mando sounds good -so do you. I like the body, less sure about the head (the mandolin's that is )

Nice pickin' and cool axe, but I'm thinking Bill would probably smile and shake his head, anyway there is a noticeable difference in the ring on open strings with single versus coursed, which is integral to the bluegrass sound ( IMHO) , now Tiny Moore would be all in I think. I know the single string is for bending but technically its skis versus a snow board, Lawrence Welk in a Scandinavian sweater, swooping along on, in comes the kid in the hoodey and wool cap doing back flips and hanging on snowbanks.

Seriously though, I also like the body design, and I kinda like the look of the headstock but I don't like the reality so much as it's hard to clip a tuner on (beveled back of head) like an ovation

Thanks! Either way, Bill ain't here and the bluegrass police don't have an Africa division, so I'm safe for now.... my only real complaint is that the E string is quieter (I hear this is common).
