    Default New original: Beaufort West

Here's a tune written for and played in a small Karoo town called Beaufort West. This town always gives me ghost town vibes, which was inspiring the tune.
    I hope you enjoy it!

    Nice playing there young man!

Yes the noise of that strong wind could get to you after a while.
A long time ago, on two different occasions, I walked all the way across Paris from west to east, one time at night and one time during the day.
The time during the day it was the beginning of autumn but still very hot and the CGT were on strike, no trains, no buses, nothing.
Everyone in Paris was in a car, in a smoggy, noisy traffic jam, trying to get to another part of Paris.
No-one was where they wanted to be.

We decided to walk but it was different. I was with a friend who’s partially deaf, so I wore ear plugs.
Almost complete silence, we had so much fun!

    Thanks Simon and Rush!

Dave, sorry you didn't like it, but that's the thing about filming on location, it's cool and special but the sound is not the best. I hope you can still learn to enjoy performances with sub par audio
