Here's a photo of my new Kentucky KM-276 next to my beloved old Regal. The Regal is a sweet old mandolin, but its playability isn't great and it really wants to collapse. I've already had it repaired once. I don't feel I can justify the cost of the repairs it really needs. I spent a lot of time looking and decided that the best option for the money I had was the Kentucky. I think the 276 is the prettiest of that series and I'm really glad I went for that model. I've had this mandolin for less than an day and I'm blown away by its playability, tone and volume! I hope to take my playing to the next level with this instrument.

Congrats. The few of the KM-27x series I've played have all been nice instruments. Excellent sound and playability. Plus, I like the fact Kentucky is making a long neck oval hole instrument.
