Smile SG style electric build Walnut

    Hi all,

I built a solid body with my Dad over christmas break. I used the neck form a cheaper electric to save time. Nothing fancy on the pickups or electronics, but it was a fun project and action is great. E string amplification is a little weak because of pickup choice/placement. Took it from 8 strings down to 4 for fun. No switch, instead using 2 volume knobs. Questions, suggestions, and comments appreciated.

Great way to convert a so-so electric into a one of a kind special instrument. These things are precious and even more so because your dad was involved. Instruments can last forever.
