Waverly. What is the problem? Stewmac will replace them if they are defective but look at the nut slots first.

These tuners are particular about the holes for the posts. They have to be done right.

Always have had trouble getting well tuned and keeping for any length of time.
I did lube the tuners , cleaned the nut slots and lightly lubed them too. Maybe need new nut?
I am awaiting some monel strings, will restring and see where we are.

I have two sets that don't cause me any problems. I'm really surprised. Where are you located? You might want to have someone take a look at them.

I assume the G/D plate came with a set of screws?
I loosened and snugged button screws too.
Seems weird for this level of tuner to be a problem . I’ll see what develops with new strings
