    Amen to that, and thanks! I'm working on three CDs of original content right now... I can't say I'm upset about that :D

    May I make a few suggestions that will make a positive difference? First, buy dedicated cords for everything. Don’t use a 10 ft cable if three or six will do. Get everything off the floor and you can vacume every once in a while. Get your speakers on stands so they are at head height, and get a desk mount mic stand like radio broadcasters use. I have a Rode that was about a hundred bucks. Best gear buy ever. I’ve found a tidy environment very conducive to a good session.
