Need help finding info on custom mandolin

I bought a mandolin crafted by a luthier by the name of WS Jackson from South Bend, Indiana. It was purchased in Marietta, GA at Atlanta Vintage Guitars and has a label with his name and the year he built it - 1977.

There is another thread in the forum that was looking to find more info, but not much has been revealed, which is why I'm reposting in hopes of finding new leads.
