    Default Girouard G5 Concert

A new mandolin family instrument has been added to The Music Emporium inventory:

    Girouard G5 Concert

We are excited to host this new Girouard G5 Concert at The Music Emporium! This is Max and Lauri's top of the line model with all the looks and sound to prove it. Remarkably balanced with a shimmer while played at low volumes, and plenty of bark if digging in is your thing, this one has tons of tonal range making it a chameleon in any situation. The fully bound body is comprised of a red spruce top and a one piece sugar maple sides and the traditional hand stained tobacco sunburst is complimented by a full gloss varnish finish. If that wasn't enough, it also plays like a dream thanks to a slimmer V neck carve and a compound fretboard radius. This is about as fine an example of Max and Lauri's work that we've seen and should be on your radar if you are looking for a Mandolin to grow with. Priced with a hardshell case.

    • Red spruce top
    • Sugar maple back and sides
    • 13.875 scale length
    • Ebony fingerboard and bridge
    • 1.125 nut width
    • Bone nut
    • Soft V neck shape
    • Engraved James tailpiece
    • Gotoh tuners
    • Varnish finish

Beautiful mandolin ~ I can see why it’s already sold!

Does anyone know what they were asking for it?

It was knock your socks off good. I believe it was about $6500.

Yeah, that is a pretty mandolin.
I need to try a Girouard.
They seem to be a reasonably priced, beautifully made mandolin.
I used to not like the pointy scroll thing, but it has grown on me.

Top of the food chain mandolins ! Won't find better workmanship or sound as a Girouard ! I especially like Girouard ovals ! I have a new Girouard Concert F4 arriving in March 2020 !
