Same here. I'd love to have an early Gibson A-style mando. I don't NEED one, and don't have the money, but that doesn't change that I'd like to HAVE one!

i did ogle that that one for a while. it might be a great player, but not original. i have a totally refinished , and possibly replacement carved maple back,gibson 1923 snakehead i use for busking. i call it the world's best busking mandolin. sounds fantastic. music pros hear it from a distance and look for where that tone is comming from. they look for the amp--no amp. so a refurbished gibson can still be a great player. the bones of that one look good.
