    Default ChordU.....this look intersting

Just found out about this site. Yes, it shows in guitar but there is an option to change it to mandolin chords. Just started playing with it, looks like it will be fun.

Pretty neat. And here I am being old school and listening to a track over and over again.

I just found ChordU a few days ago while searching chords for some Fats Waller + Django tunes and am finding it extremely useful for mandolin..
It's not perfect....It doesn't always have the right chords or best chord positions but for the most part its close and a good way to get a foothold into some challenging material....
In broad strokes....ChordU is able to filter any of the (music) content on Youtube and extract the chords (more or less).....then plays back and streams the (Mandolin !)chord shapes while playing back the Youtube video so you can play along.....it also has controls for slowing down etc..
Also works for Guitar, Piano, Uke, and to my complete shock... for Mandolin ..

and its available for free ... ( it does have some ads)

    I have no financial Interest.....btw

I played around some and it must be an AI recognition program. Some wrong chords but it's funny to see it try to handle the background noise and cut scenes.
