Was just listening to this on Pandora and was wondering who the mandolin player was on that song?

Daniel Kaufman
I’m pretty sure that was Adam Steffey.

The man that played that session was the same one who's done the fiddle on his records for the last 20 years. None other than Stuart Duncan. It was played on his custom built Gibson that he received not long before that tune got cut. It is a little deeper than a standard F5 by about an 1/8' or so and made with a piece of wood his Dad gave him. It can be seen on a video from that years CMA awards on stage playing with Jackson I think on the song, "Where were you when the world stopped turning" which was the debut of that song.
Thanks for that.
