    This pretty pastiche of a Neapolitan mandolin serenade was written by A.E. Sheppard, the principal contributor of mandolin content to the BMG Magazine in the 1970s (he also arranged the Bach gavotte I posted a few days ago). The score is attached and also available for free download from the BMG magazine archive site at:

    My recording uses a tenor guitar accompaniment instead of a guitar, so I'm playing the arpeggios out of different chord shapes than in Sheppard's score, for a somewhat more open guitar sound.
