    Good luck. Houston is a dry spot for either Mandolin or banjo work. I’ve taken some to Kevin Perry at Great Sourthern Music. Kevin is primarily a guitar luthier. Mike Fuller is another option at Fuller’s Vintage Guitars. They carry some Bluegrass instruments and Mile plays in Bluegrass Solution Bluegrass Band some fellow mandolinist have taken their mandolins to Fuller’s.
    I send mine to Bruce Weber for anything more than bridge placement, string height or smoothing nut and bridge slots (not cutting slot depths just smoothing burrs).
