Default Mandolin Shops or luthiers in Bangkok, Chaing-Mai or Hanoi?

Ok, I know it is a long shot:
I am going for a trip of one month+ to Bangkok, Chiang Mai (Thailand), and Hanoi (Vietnam).
Are there any interesting shops for mandolins or mandolin luthiers there?

Nguyen Thien Thuat Street in Ho Chi Minh City is known as Guitar Street.

Here's an article about it from a few years back. And another one on CNN.

Here's a website with some links to Vietnamese luthiers.

Ok, now that I am in Vietnam, I found in Hanoi the "Hao Nam" street. It is quite a long street, all covered with musical-instrument shops.
You will not find many non Vietnamese-made instruments, but you should not look for them here either. The prices for local-made instruments are low, and some of them are quite good. From what I saw, acoustic guitars especially are very cheap (around $150) for all-wood, beautiful luthier instruments.
I visited a very nice luthier that sells under the "Thanh Cam" brand. His showroom is at Hao-Nam 182, and his workshop is near Hao Nam 127. I bought a Mandola from him and got good treatment.
