    Default Northfield Calhoun Case

Hi all. I’m in the process of buying a Calhoun, and was wondering if anyone could point me towards a case that will fit it? I’m looking for a hard case, appropriate for humidity considerations here in PA. Everything I’ve come across so far is A style, but not necessarily for flat tops/backs. Thanks!

If you’re looking for a hard case.. I’m not sure what’s available. Northfield does sell an amazing gig bag for flattop mandolins.

    Joey,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I’m looking for a hard case. Our PA winters aren’t kind to transporting wood instruments. I was hoping to avoid retrofitting an “A” model hardshell, but it looks like that’s the route. I’ve not been able to find any dedicated hardshells for pancakes/flat tops.

    Thanks again!

Wonder if this Access Stage 3 rectangular case would work? I had one of these for a Pomeroy A that I had years ago and really liked it - the internal layout makes it work for a variety of mandolin shapes/types:
