    Default Another TablEdit question...

I am running the latest version of TablEdit and consider myself a reasonably competent, but not advanced user. It seems that I have tweaked some settings which has created a "displacement" of the tabulature notes on the staff lines.

Let me explain this in a different way: When I bring up a .tef file, the "notes" (meaning the fret numbers) are displayed one line higher than they should be. So the "notes" on the 4th string are displayed on the 3rd string, the 3rd on the 2nd, and so on. Meaning that the 1st string "notes" are displayed in space above the 1st string.

Also, I am unable to place the cursor on the 4th string. Just the 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and the next space above the 1st. This happens on tunes that I am opening, and also if I select "New" from the file menu.

I have been unsuccessful in correcting this condition. Downloading a newer version of TablEdit does not fix it.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    Default Re: Another TablEdit question...

I have solved the problem!! Turns out I have the TablEdit program installed on two computers in my home. One was operating normally and the other had the displaced line spacing described in my original post. In the past, I had compared the settings of both and they seemed to be the same. Not so! This time, I very carefully compared every setting and found some that were different, that I had missed before. I'm not exactly sure which setting did the trick, but all is well now.
No need for anyone to reply. Over and out.
