    Default Godin question

Recently acquired a Godin A8, will play my first gig with it tomorrow. I was wondering what strings you Godin players found worked best with its pickup system, or does any "normal" mandolin stings work?

    Thanks!

Don’t have one but a mate has and I have a Godin elsctric guitar which includes the same type of pickup. As it’s in the bridge, using individual saddles, I doubt that the type of strings you use will make much difference but you might get a more “solid” sound with heavier ones.
