    Default Sam Bush tuning tips

I was searching for info and videos of the Gibson Sam Bush model when I came across this 2012 video. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WCibDKzwsTU

Sam Bush mentions at least three tuning tips that make a lot of sense, so I thought I'd share the video for fresh ears and others interested.

To summarize his tips: 1) Use the tuner for one string in the course then use your ear for the other. 2) Strike the string when tuning with the same force as when you're going to play. 3) If possible, have one person tune all instruments in the band.

I wish #3 was the easiest to pull off. It's amazing how everyone, especially in a jam, is always tuning and yet so many can sound out of tune with one another sometimes.

And the video looks like it was shot at some festival or the like, right outside a bathroom. Haha. I always hear of these stories of big names (none bigger than the late Bill Monroe) playing a set then jamming amongst the patrons. How great is that?
