    Default I've Got A Feeling

Hope it’s not a bad Feeling® (end of pun)

In another post I was admiring the Goldtone Mando Guitar when I realized that the Chinese maker Feeling made the same thing for half the price. I really have no need for one but “road less traveled” and all that. So I ordered one.

This is exactly the same instrument as the Goldtone with just a different sticker on the head stock. I have compared the photos to the instrument and I have no doubt.

It showed up pretty fast. The fretwork is a little rough but better than the Squier guitar I bought recently. No setup was done what so ever – so expect to do that.

The strings it shipped with are much to light and harsh sounding (the high E broke right away). A good set of strings made a big difference.

The binding on front, back and neck is well done. The top looks like a veneer and may not hold up.

It's about the size and scale of a mandola and that suits me

I like it, but I'm not sure how I will fit it into my musical doings.

This image is the GoldTone as I have no camera at the moment.

Can you estimate how much your Feeling weighs? Must be fairly heavy the handle the tension.

According to my bathroom scale 3.2 lbs

It lighter than my Eastwood E Mandola & heavier than my Epiphone MM-30 mandolin.

It's has a solid feel to it.
