Hello! Wow, that is a wonderful looking instrument and well worth waiting for, my friend. Good for you and I hope you have many happy years of playing pleasure with this one.

    Cheers, Benski
That is beautiful. Looks like it has the small neck profile as well. I'm finding my RSDMM neck is something that's helping my playing and feels very comfortable for me. Can't wait to see other photos.

#7 and #13 at Carter's, #7 looks more distressed than #13 and is $2500 more. Must be the sound difference?

    Morris -

PM sent. Congrats on #7. I have #6, and consider it the best mandolin I've had the opportunity to play.

I own Skaggs #30. I purchased it from Carter’s Vintage. It is signed only by Ricky and is one of few with true 1 piece back and sounds amazing.

Would you mind sending my some pictures of #30 for my archive? Also any nuances or history that you know and don't mind being public.

    Thanks

I own #30 signed by Ricky December 21 2009. It is one of few with actual 1 piece back and it sounds great.

Enjoy. My experience from when I was shopping around a few years back. I never played or heard a DMM that wasn't a great bluegrass mandolin.
