A new mandolin family instrument has been added to The Music Emporium inventory:

Northfield Maple Archtop Octave Mandolin

View instrument...

Northfield Mandolins has seriously upped the ante with their new carved-top, archtop guitar-style octave mandolin. These instruments are quniquely sized, with the aim of taking away some of the awkwardness inherent in the typical octave mandolin scale-length and body size. This maple-bodied octave has a deep, crisp tone that's great for vocal accompaniment and provides some added punch for melody playing. Check out the great Joe K. Walsh taking it for a spin over at the 'Video' tab! With hard case.
