    Default River mandolin

While browsing my local music store I noticed a good looking f mandolin with River on the peghead. Does anyone know who and where they are made?

"River" doesn't pop up as a brand for mandolins, banjos or guitars.

Any chance it could be "Rover," a well-known brand of Asian-import instruments? Jus' askin'....

Weber makes(made) a beautiful model called The River, but I don’t think it reads that on the peg head.

The Weber River is offered as a custom instrument. I could be mistaken but I believe you have the option of having the pegged say The Weber or The River.
