Thread: Opus mandolin

    Default Opus mandolin

I designed and made this over a year ago and to date, I have not been able to find anyone to test it and my playing is terrible. I was advised to go with 4 strings because it is an electric (but has useable acoustic output being hollow). The single coil was custom made. Hopefully I get to hear it one day.

Just play a scale. We’d love to hear the tone.

I'm curious how much do your mandolins sell for roughly? And how far are you from Edenvale? I come through there every so often, and I'll be there early next year.

I'm about half and hour from Edenvale. I do not make many but I guess they would start at $2500- The original Broadway would be around $4000- and the Broadway I am working on now about $2500- plus shipping. Pop around when you are here.

I prefer eight strings on my electrics.
