Electro / Acoustic Mandolin

Guys, we are a 5 member electric band playing "Americana" based in England and would like to add a elctro mandolin to certain tunes.

We would prefer a F style for the "look" if nothing else and don't wish to pay more than $500 - ish for this instrument, understand this is somewhat limiting. This is our first post and any advice would be appreciated ! - Best, Keith

Tall order.......how about a used Epiphone MM-50E? That should hit your price, look, and sound requirement.

Otherwise, you could get into a used solid body for even less cash, but I don't know of any F style solid bodies.

I’m very happy with mine. Watch it though they chew batteries if you leave them plugged in.
