Just realized Feeling makes what looks like the same instrument to me. Much cheaper.

Its common that a Chinese or other overseas instrument factory builds a design and labels it with multiple different brands with only the headstock shape or hardware being different. The quality of these instruments can vary.

I compared the photos from Gold Tone's website and the ebay ads and they are identical photos (except head stock name).

This is of course not proof of anything.

But my guess is that neither company makes them, but just puts their name on it.

It's less than 1/2 price and free shipping. So it's tempting.
