I’ve finished my Saga kit and I’m getting ready to install a pickguard. The Stew MAC instructions suggest using an extended length 1/16th drill bit. But they don’t sell them. Any suggestions on where to get one?

I googled it and found several places to get them.

I bought a set of long bits from MSCDirect.com years ago just for installing pickguard. They work great for this.

General: extra long drill bits are called “aircraft”. Thin ones can be whippy, so start at low speed.

Yep, most hardware stores carry aircraft bits.

Thank you, I didn’t know to search for “aircraft” bits.
