Maybe it's me...
Maybe it's the fact that I've only been playing a couple of years and my speed is not up to the level of some of the bluegrass out there. One thing that I have learned is that a originally fast paced bluegrass song can take on a whole new life of it's own when played melodically and slower.
I do hope my speed picks up but for now, I am enjoying what I got. Here's an example of "letting a mandolin sing" instead of being like the speed metal of bluegrass...
This Sorenson sounds pretty awesome to me. Wish it was me in the video....but alas, it's not.
