Mr. (Mandolin) Mercedes

Some lovely traditional Irish mandolin at the end of episode 3, season 3 of Brendan Gleeson's show Mr. Mercedes. A duet between Dylan Foley and an unaccredited mandolin player.

Dylan features in the episode, playing some background music in a pub, then accompaniment to Brendan singing.

It's really nice mandolin playing. Not sure how accessible the show is in various parts of the world; think it's an AT&T production.

The mandolin player may well have been Brendan himself. He’s a fine fiddler and mandolinist. And a great actor - in both serious and comic parts. Not fair, is it, that one man should have so many strings to his bow? (Fiddle pun intended...)
