Wow, that's amazing. Remembering so many tunes - all the names of your friends and family - I wonder what the effect is for brain development, especially into old age. I think music is one of the best things for brain health, and remembering tunes is a complex exercise. Thanks for posting this wonderful video.

It’s an app that you can use to define very small areas on the planet. You use just three words to do that. It works because if you have a vocabulary of even just 1000 words then you can define 1000X1000X1000 ie. 1000 million places. And that’s just with a tiny vocabulary.
A lot of people know 10 thousand words -tunes, that’s another story.
Thanks for posting. These types of little-known musical/cultural traditions from isolated parts of the world are fascinating to me. This one reminded me somewhat of the whistling language on the island of La Gomera in the Canaries, which is also an ancient form of communication that people are trying to keep active in modern times.
