    Clearly these guys were all having fun but, for me, the more interesting thing is the music played. The tune was pretty generic seeming but the playing of it made it something really interesting.

    My foolish pride leads me to think that I'm very open-minded about musicians and musical styles but Dave Koz reminded me how much I still have left to learn. My limited exposure to his playing had led me to put him in a box but now, thanks to his back and forth with Chris, I see that he has a lot more going on than I previously thought.

    It was a real treat hearing the two of them take turns and comment on each other's solos and especially fun when the bandleader had everyone else stop and let them play with more freedom. (Also, to me, very impressive how the leader called the band back in just as things were wobbling a little.)

    Many thanks for such a fun 6 minutes!

    Dang. And here I had always thought that musicians would be the last group of people to pick on someone for having fun with music.

    This world has gotten too uptight. This world needs more groovy music so we can all lighten up, get in touch with our joy and maybe even learn how to dance with abandon like hippies.
