    This was always one of the biggest things I pointed to when I complained about the list of previous winners. So happy for Alan, very very well deserved and long overdue!

    Alan Bibey is a worthy winner, just a great player.
    Can those of you who know how these things work tell me, do they award on the basis of a number years or is this award in light of a particular album that he's played on recently. If the latter I'm keen to purchase.
