    Well, it's more than just mis-identification. This one was a full forgery. Logo, label(s), tailpiece, all stating "Gibson".

    Maybe the new owner can salvage the tuners. Hopefully those were real. Although I doubt it.

    ... except that the treble side one looks a bit bent, viewing from the back. Maybe the bass side also, but you can't tell because they're set at diffferent distances from the edge.
