    Default Gibson A5G value

Any opinions what a 1985 Gibson A5g is worth? I have one in great shape that I am thinking about selling to fund a new guitar. (flame suit on).

    Thanks in advance

I think that would be a good $2500? I would look with interest at that price.

Click on the blue name in upper left of the person you wish to PM. There will be a PM listed in the drop down box that opens. Click on that.

Sylvan is a very good shop not known to give stuff away. I'd say if they are at $2500, $2250 would be a competitive starting point provided condition is equal. I'm not qualified to say I'd a ten year difference matters or not either way.
