Easy strap lock
Hey All,
The strap has popped off the back of my mandolin enough times to make me worry about it while I am playing. I hate thinking about it, and hate the thought of my nice mandolin smashing to the ground.
I saw some cheap little grommets for sale as guitar "strap blocks", so I bought a pack.
They are only $3 for a pack of them.
They slip over the end of the tail pin, and hold the strap on.
They worked on my guitars perfectly, and it works surprisingly well on my mandolin.
The strap has no way to pop off unless the pin shoots out.
Just offering them as a suggestion for those who want to secure the tail end of the mandolin to your strap. I don't have to think about it now.
You can find them at all the online sources of music things.
Just search "Guitar Strap Blocks"
