NOTICE: regarding GoFundMe projects

Please note that we have removed an entire GoFundMe thread at the behest of the person it was set up to benefit. I do not personally take this kind of action lightly. The person it was to benefit I can guarantee is livid about this being posted in his name.

This was specifically and very emphatically requested by the individual it was to benefit that the thread in mention be permanently removed from the Forum. Though well intentioned, it had exactly the opposite effect and could ruin negotiations with his insurance company.

You should always obtain the approval of the individual in question before you set up a crowd sourcing page for someone.
