Mountain Song festival, is there any picking

Never been here, have to go to Asheville this weekend. Turns out a great festival is in Brevard. Any pickin there or is it just people listening. (like a Adams festival) If not any open jams on Saturday night around Asheville?

As a disclaimer I have not been in several years, but in all the years past I never saw any picking going on. The band guys have a private party sometimes if you're lucky enough to be invited there, but there was nothing going on on the grounds for everyone. The way it is laid out with the stage at the Music Center, there really isn't a good place to do it.
