Default Collings MT2 - Dixie Hoedown

Here’s a quick sample of this time for you, with my super awesome new Collings MT2. I’m
still feeling my way around it, so the play and improv is a work in progress, but it’s a sweet instrument!

    Thanks, everyone:

I've been playing the heck out of it since that video two weeks ago, and am tempted to record it again and post it here to highlight any differences in the sound of this new MT2 and my playing due to so much practicing. I think I'll do that.

Great sound Kevin. Your picking action picks a really good tone with the MT2 - one of the best I have heard on lots of MT2 yourube videos.

Thanks so much, Nic. I've got posts all over the Cafe about this awesome mandolin, so I won't repeat myself here. It's enough to say this instrument and I have an evolving, symbiotic relationship. it reveals something new about itself each time I pick it up, as do I, I suppose.
